Act Now!

Yeah, right. We hear that one all the time. "Now more than ever" is another phrase we're self-trained to ignore. And how about "New and Improved?" (How can it be new if it's been improved?)

But sometimes timing is important. And once in a while, there is something that's more effective than anything else. That's what our network of biker activists is all about: Getting the most bang for the buck.

Our Mission: Bikers Rights. What biker could possibly be against protecting his rights from being trampled by ignorant nannies and arrogant cronies? Are we to be respected as free citizens, or herded like domesticated livestock?

Our Objective: Helmet Law Repeal. Whether you like helmets or not, any legislator that lets YOU decide on helmets will support you on 99% of every other freedom issue. Get the head, and the body will follow.

Our Measurement: Legislative Majority. You can't pass (or repeal) legislation without one. And without power, bikers have no rights. Then all we can do is beg from indifferent strangers. But build a biker-friendly majority and we win every legislative battle -- every time.

Our Operation: Campaign Work. Elections are the only time we can help our friends at the state capital. It's the only time they need our help, and it's the only time candidates are listening. If we ignore candidates during the campaign season, politicians will ignore us during the legislative session.

The Virginia elections are less than 90 days away, and there are biker-friendly candidates in VERY close races that need help. So "Act Now!" actually means something to bikers in and around Virginia.

Sometimes timing is everything, and there is no better time than now to get involved. It will be two years before Virginia bikers get another chance like this.

Don't live in Virginia?
> Cross the Line. Maryland and North Carolina bikers are less than an hour's ride from very close races in VA. You don't need to vote ... just roll up your sleeves and help the campaign crew.
> Pick up the Phone. Most campaigns need people to "phone bank" to help get out the vote. You can call from anywhere in the world.
> Act Locally. Next year the elections will be in YOUR state. But without volunteers, you'll be caught flat-footed. Get involved now so you'll be ready.
