< CA S-15 > Monterey

Governor Schwarzenegger has nominated State Senator Abel Maldonado to be California's new Lieutenant Governor.

If and when that happens, there will be a vacancy in Senate District 15, which centers on Monterey but stretches along the central California coastline from San Jose down to Pismo Beach.

There are dozens of legislative races ging on all around the country. Each one presents bikers with an opportunity to help elect a biker-friendly candidate. That's the quickest and easiest way to build a biker-friendly majority -- one step at a time.

Being in the right place at the right time can make a huge difference. With just a little effort as campaign volunteers, bikers can accomplish far more than lobbying incumbents. That's because campaign work is the only form of lobbying that creates a bond of friendship. Get good people elected in the first place, and keep nanny-crats from getting elected. Then lobbying takes care of itself.

Check for the latest updates to all of these races on the ELECTIONS page at RIDE2REPEAL.COM. Just scroll down to your state, and click on the green candidate's name to visit their website. It's that easy to volunteer (and earn back your rights).
